Hammer the bent track back into the correct shape against the wood until it has returned to proper alignment with the rest of the track.

Pull the rope in order to release the door from the opener.

You can repair serious dents by pounding on them using a hammer and block of wood but if you have a rubber mallet around use it instead.
Using pliers manipulate the metal on the edge of the track and slip the wheels back into the track.

You can secure the wheels into the track by knocking the edge of the track back into shape as it was before you used pliers on it.

Disconnect the garage door from the opener.
After the tracks are secured using lock pliers get ahold of the outer edge of the tracks with a pair of pliers and pull it in the opposite direction.
To do this simply clamp the locking pliers beneath the door on one of the tracks.
To start the process check overhead for a rope that connects the opener to the door.
Make sure the door is reattached to the opener and can open and close smoothly.

Open and close the door manually a few times to test if the rollers are operating smoothly.
